… pearl in the Mediterranean

Mallorca is quite rightly called cycling paradise. Its climate, roads, varied landscape, gastronomy and cultural attractions provide the perfect backdrop for your perfect cycling location in southern Europe. Whether you cycle through the flat inland or through the hills or mountains, you will be amazed by the fantastic landscapes and unique views.

Climate

Mallorca is such a hugely popular holiday destination for a reason. With mild winters, a high number of sunshine hours and little rain, Mallorca offers year-round perfect conditions for sport and relaxation.

In February and March, Mallorca is at its most beautiful. With green expanses of fields filled with almond trees in full bloom, it is a beautiful time of year to visit Mallorca. The average temperature is around 14°C.

April is a very popular cycling month in Mallorca. It is warmer in Mallorca than in mainland Europe and the first sunbathers report to the beach. You are guaranteed arm-and-leg rides with an average temperature of 17°C.

May and June are the first real summer months in Mallorca. Evenings without a jumper on the terrace and while cycling, a lovely warm sun on arms and legs with an average temperature around 25°C.

September and October are fantastic cycling months in Mallorca. The Mediterranean climate is very mild at this time of year. The sea water is warm and provides a faint sea breeze in the afternoon, a great contrast to spring. Daytime temperatures still easily exceed 20 degrees and the sun is out. In short: fantastic cycling weather!
